FROM SIGNAL TO EXPERIENCE
Every layer has a job. Select a block to see how we connect it to the next.
Sensors, interfaces, power, and board design turn your requirements into a working electronic system. Hardware and firmware are developed together, so the interfaces work on the bench and in the product.
Firmware reads inputs, controls outputs, manages timing, and keeps the product responsive. We build the drivers, real-time logic, and recovery behavior that connect the electronics to the product experience.
Wireless links and gateways carry useful device data and commands. Provisioning, authenticated messaging, and reconnection behavior make that connection part of the product, not an afterthought.
Cloud services receive telemetry, organize device state, and connect the product to other systems. We design the device-to-cloud contract so both sides agree on identity, messages, and expected behavior.
Dashboards, control interfaces, and setup tools turn system capability into something people can use. Product software gives users a clear view of device status and a practical way to act.

Process it in firmware01 / WHAT WE DO
Bring us an idea, a prototype, or an existing product. We can own the development journey or work on the part your team needs most.
Bring up your board, integrate its peripherals, and build the application logic that makes the product work.
Turn product requirements into schematics, component choices, and PCB designs. Bring the board up with its firmware and validate the interfaces together.
Make the gateway fit your hardware. Adapt board support, integrate services, and resolve networking and interface problems.
Connect your product over BLE, Wi-Fi, or mesh. Build provisioning, authenticated cloud messaging, and device state reporting into the same experience.
Build update and recovery paths, diagnose crashes, and fix the memory, timing, and persistence issues that surface on real devices.
Make the hardware useful to people. Build desktop applications, device dashboards, serial integrations, and tools for setup and testing.
FIRMWARE THROUGH ITS LIFECYCLE
A firmware update is more than an upload. We connect transfer, validation, boot behavior, and recovery into a considered product workflow.
Explore the engineeringBuild an image for the intended hardware and define its version, validation rules, and release package. The device needs a clear way to recognize an appropriate update.
Transfer the image within the device’s memory and storage limits. Track progress and design retry behavior so a dropped connection has a planned response.
Validate the staged image before handing control to the update mechanism. Integrity, authenticity, hardware compatibility, and available storage are considered in the product’s update design.
Install and start the intended firmware, check the boot result, and restore the required device state. A complete update includes the product returning to useful service.
An interrupted transfer, invalid image, or failed boot needs an explicit recovery plan. Depending on the hardware and bootloader, this can mean a retry, retaining the current image, or returning to a known-good release.
Illustrative flow. Recovery depends on the product design.

02 / ENGINEERING IN PRACTICE
A closer look at the challenges we help product teams solve.
FIRMWARE / WIRELESS / CLOUD
Embedded firmware, Wi-Fi onboarding, cloud provisioning, and compatibility with existing devices.
02OTA / MEMORY / RECOVERY
Working within memory limits, recovering interrupted transfers, and validating the complete update path.
03EMBEDDED LINUX / FIELD DIAGNOSTICS
Reproducing a gateway failure, tracing memory ownership, and testing against the original trigger.
These anonymized examples draw on prior engineering work to illustrate our technical approach. They are not presented as Tethrio Technologies client engagements.
03 / HOW WE WORK
Full product development or a focused piece of engineering. Either way, you know what we’re building, how we’ll test it, and what you’ll receive.
Agree on requirements, hardware constraints, interfaces, and success criteria. Identify the risks before committing to a build.
Connect hardware design, firmware, and software through practical milestones. Review progress against the agreed scope.
Check the normal path and the awkward ones: resets, dropped connections, update interruptions, and resource limits.
Deliver the agreed source, build instructions, design files, and validation notes. Plan further integration or ongoing support.
04 / ABOUT TETHRIO
PRODUCT ENGINEERING / HARDWARE TO CLOUD
Tethrio Technologies is led by Jay Panchal, an embedded systems engineer with experience across firmware, hardware bring-up, wireless connectivity, and cloud integration. LinkedIn ↗
We provide product engineering services focused on embedded solutions and connected products, bringing hardware design, firmware development, product software, and cloud integration into one coherent development process.
Firmware sits at the center of our work. Around it, we connect the electronics, communication protocols, applications, and services that make a product useful and maintainable.
Our approach is practical: understand the requirements, build in clear milestones, validate on real hardware, and make the handoff useful to the people who will maintain the product.
05 / BEFORE WE BEGIN
Yes. We offer hardware design, embedded firmware, product software, and cloud integration. We define the scope around your product, with firmware as a core strength. Hardware fabrication, specialist certification, and other external dependencies are agreed during scoping.
Yes. A project can start with a new concept, an existing prototype, or a product already in the field. For an existing system, we first review its architecture, build process, and the issue you need to solve.
A short product description, the target hardware or MCU, the current development stage, and your main challenge. Include the outcome and timing you have in mind. We can agree on confidentiality before reviewing sensitive design files or source code.
We agree on communication, milestones, hardware access, and acceptance checks at the start. If you found us through a freelance platform, you can share your brief and continue the discussion there using that platform’s process.
